See, fanart like this makes the design look good, but I'm more and more HORRIFIED with what's happening to my childhood the more I hear about this special. First, I expect a revival season in the old style. Then, I see the pic with this style and think it's a joke. Next, I hear it's actual concept art followed by news of the CG animation. Last, I find out that it's not even a revival- just a special. I'm sorry, but as much as I like this pic I just HATE what Cartoon Network's doing!

una de las series que definitivamente hay que rescatar es la de LAS CHICAS SUPER PODEROSAS ya me habian hablado de este corto pero aun no lo he visto.
en lo personal a mi me gustan mas LAS ORIGINALES y no esa porqueria de las PPGZ que solo fueron creadas para HENTAI.
tu dibujo esta genial y habra que esperar que hacen estas nuevas chicas super poderosas.

Yeah, someone showed me a picture and said that this are the new designs for the may possible reboot (?). Looks not bad but I'm afraid now that the reboot may could be flash animated, and I'm sure that ppg deserves better than flash animated.

It's worse. FAR worse! "The Powerpuff Girls Rule!!!" TV special was done in Flash, and it looked fine. THIS is gonna be in CG.

The flash sucked in ppg rule, it just was not the same like the good old days, looked so loveless...
BUT CGI in for the special... well so much I prefer 2D animated, I honestly will give the CGI a fair chance here, cause I actual have seen some very impressiv CGI examples of other shows. For example Ben 10 destroy all aliens, yeah the story was lame but CGI loocked just amazing.

Ben 10 had a 3D special? Never knew. Then again, I never watched. I still don't get why people didn't like the Flash. It looked the same to me. At least the same as more recent episodes. I'm still gonna watch, cuz I love PPG. We'll see....
