Beautiful work on the candy kids (Vanellope and ???) just chillin' together, enjoying their treats. The way they're sitting, chatting (with her mouth full! ) and their affects are very child like, so you did great there. Also, I like the bottom left sketch where she excitedly calls someone over. That's what it looks like anyway, very impatient without any annoyance even if the adult or whoever is "taking too long" because it's been a whole five seconds.
Even zoomed out the details on Ashley's Spinelli's outfit are terrific, maybe the size contrast between her legs and how wide the tops of the boots are part of it, but the jacket looks great. Better though is her unhappy expression (not that I want her to be unhappy) and the resigned way she's resting her chin on her hand but you can tell she's still putting pressure on her leg and neck to hold the position. She's tense. (Or maybe I'm reading way too much into it.) The girl sitting back-to-back with her looks cute as she finally starts to detect that something's upsetting her friend.
Really nice to see that Edith made it to the sketch and is trying to hard to get back into the house. Not just for her but for her sisters too. Margo looks rather sad and almost numb, thinking they're not getting back in; cute little Edith senses it but it doesn't register so she's just looking worried, holding her sister's hand tight and nervously picking at her bunched up pant leg.
Fortunately, I think Edith will finally figure out that most outside doors open inward (because the hinges should be inside for security) and they'll get back inside. If not, let's hope Gru realizes what's happening and rushes out for them.
(Dang. I think you just made me have to watch the movie again. )
Ive always wondered, do you draw digitally or traditionally and then edit them? Thanks!
